goodfuckingbye 2025!
I kind of forgot to do a wrap-up post for this year but then again, do I even have anything to say...? over the past few years I've enjoyed taking a look back to see what I've done/accomplished in the year but truthfully, the accomplishment this time was just pushing through what might've been one of my worst years.
saying it like that makes it sound like I went through many ordeals, and I did in my fandom life :') but outside of it, the struggle was just the same old "wow, my degree kinda serves no purpose, I'm in a dead-end job I'm not well-equipped for, and I can't do anything useful or fun other than try to stay afloat". it just hit really hard this year in particular. physically, I'm great! but I was in a really bad headspace for the first half of the year, and getting back on meds helped me "forget" the helplessness and focus on important things like reading the murderbot books and playing the sims. I played so much the sims this year.

kevin I missed you so much

I had made him and sangyeon a house a couple years ago (the members were all split into different households, these two live in LA/del sol valley) and forgot his room is probably the cutest room in the whole save

very nice kitchen too!
no goals either - I dropped out of gywo and didn't try to achieve anything, so even the fic I wanted to finish, I didn't. I watched an incredible 15 (!) movies in 2025, 4 of which were rewatches. #nailedit only a handful of shows too (the last season of the newsreader was great!) so I'm now interested in watching heated rivalry for obvious reasons.I like stucky and it sounds very ao3 stucky fic indeed.
1. You have the summer and plenty of money to travel abroad. Where all would you go?
ok but summer for me or elsewhere? because that would change my plans. first stop is south korea of course - I'd catch any tbz schedules I could lol if it's summer for me and winter for the northern hemisphere, I'm visiting western europe and taking a trip around southeast asia, starting with thailand. when it's summer up there, I'd start with chile then visit canada and scandinavia (listen I'm scared of going to those places when it's too cold ok I need to ease myself into it first), then stop by australia and nz. how I would do all that in one summer idk I'd have to figure it out!!! also not gonna lie I'd love a full three months in seoul too...
2. What foods would you be sure you got to eat?
I have a stupidly low tolerance for spicy food so I wanna slowly get used to it through all the cuisines famous for their spice lol
3. What landmarks would you be sure you got to see?
not to sound cliché but everything paris and rome. in another timeline I'd love to see moscow's red square too...
4. What airline would you use?
bro idk???
5. Would your knowledge of other languages influence where you went? (i.e., would you be more likely to go to France if you spoke French?)
yeah hence why I think it'd be fun to spend a long time in korea! but tbh part of the fun of visiting any country would be experiencing the language, so...
