I'm sick so I'm allowing myself to cheat and answer one day early. that's how it works, yes.
18. How many fandoms have you written for? How many have you been in, and how many are you still in?
not many! I think. between 12 and 15? 17? that's counting drabbles and one-off fics (for example, I'm counting wjsn even if I've only written (1) wjsn drabble lol). fandoms I've written multiple times for are like... 3 or 4, max.
19. Has social media caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?
not necessarily. I don't actively dislike anything because of social media, but again, I do think twitter sucks the joy out of a lot of things, so there's that. (will bluesky be different? remains to be seen, but even daydream is there now so one can only hope!!!) in general no, I don't stop liking things because of social media, at least I don't think I do?
20. What fandom broke your heart?
the obvious answer is hp, although I don't know if that qualifies. it's just sad and kinda painful having to leave something I grew up with behind. I'm not even forcing myself to give it up, I just did, that's over and done. even watching the movies (that I never liked all that much to begin with lol) is just a bitter experience now. SIGHS. I miss being able to enjoy it for the silly children's series I thought I'd always go back to.
for a less boring answer, I'm still not over whatever the HELL was harlots s03... and I'm a killing eve fan! I watched all of true blood through the original run!! but man, what a terrible last season to what I considered the perfect show for the first two seasons. in my head that was yet another indirect consequence of GoT's influence (derogatory) on western TV shows.
