shockingly, I'm looking for memes to distract myself from the bad vibes. I came across a tumblr post with "thought-provoking asks" and thought this was exactly what I needed so *cracks knuckles* lemme choose a couple to answer.
If you had all the money in the world but still had to have some kind of job, what would you choose to do?
god, SO MANY things. would love to actually work my field (translation), but that's a basic answer. I've always wanted to learn how to sew and make my own clothes, so learning that craft and working somewhere in that area would potentially be fun. the other day I went to the theater after about 84 years without stepping into one (seriously, it was over a decade?) and had the strangest feeling that I would've been very happy working in theater - not even as an actor, but as one of the people behind the scenes making a play happen. just like with sewing, I would have to learn things from scratch, but programming always seemed interesting from a distance; I meant to start classes for it as a teen but gave up (shocker). being an actual professional novel author was what my child self most easily envisioned myself doing, so that could be fun too, maybe?! if I ever learned how to write an original story LOL SCRIPTWRITING!!!!!!! god, working in movies would be amazing too. I took a brief scriptwriting course and was fascinated the entire time. carpentry - this must be the lesbian in me talking but making furniture with my own hands? that sounds very cool. I've always dreamed of making furniture for myself. and idk if I would have the courage but flight attendant could be a very interesting job too, I guess. (<- watched 1 season of panam)

less work! so many hobbies I would take on. please let me take three months to learn the basics of digital drawing.
